Lanka Sathosa slashes prices of essential food items

In a move aimed at providing relief to consumers, Lanka Sathosa has announced a further reduction in the prices of several essential food items, effective from today, December 28.

The revised prices are as follows:

Local Canned Fish (425g) – Now priced at Rs. 475, reduced by Rs. 55.

1kg of Potatoes – Now priced at Rs. 280, reduced by Rs. 5.

1kg of Red Raw Rice – Now priced at Rs. 175, reduced by Rs. 5.

1kg of Red Dhal – Now priced at Rs. 309, reduced by Rs. 1.

1kg of White Nadu – Now priced at Rs. 206, reduced by Rs. 1.

1kg of White Raw Rice – Now priced at Rs. 199, reduced by Rs. 1.
