Starting from tomorrow (November 4), consumers in Sri Lanka will experience a price hike in the cost of 12.5kg of Litro domestic LP gas, with an increase of approximately Rs. 75.

This adjustment is being implemented in response to the recent surge in global market prices, according to the chairman of Litro Gas Lanka.

The decision to raise prices is a direct result of the escalating costs in the international market for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The chairman emphasized that the company has been closely monitoring these global trends and has been forced to pass on the increased costs to consumers.

The hike in Litro gas prices is expected to impact households and businesses across the country. As LPG is a widely used energy source for cooking and heating purposes, consumers will need to adjust their budgets accordingly to accommodate the increased expenses.
