The Colombo High Court today ( 30) served indictments on Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero over an incident involving the release of a statement considered insulting to Islam.
The indictments were formally presented during court proceedings held earlier today.
Following the filing of charges, the Colombo High Court ordered that Gnanasara Thero be released on bail.
