Former State Intelligence Chief, retired Major General Suresh Salley, who is being held under a detention order over the Easter Sunday terror attacks, was produced before a Judicial Medical Officer this morning (29).
Salley was escorted to the Colombo Judicial Medical Officer under tight security provided by the Police Special Task Force.
The move was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) following a court order issued after a request made by lawyers representing Salley before the Fort Magistrate’s Court.
