The administration of the University of Ruhuna has decided to conduct academic activities online for all students of the Faculty of Agriculture, except final-year students, due to the spread of a viral fever illness.
Around 30 second- and third-year students have reportedly been affected by the illness over the past two weeks.
The decision was taken to prevent the further spread of the viral fever among students. The online learning arrangement will remain in effect until this Friday, according to the university administration.
