Addressing the media, she revealed that 94 MPs have already applied for official residences at the Madiwela Housing Complex. Of the 108 available residences, 80 are allocated for ruling party MPs, while 28 are designated for opposition members.
Currently, 25-30 houses returned by former MPs are under renovation and will be reallocated to new MPs based on priority.
MPs living over 40 kilometers from the Parliament complex are eligible to request housing at the complex.
Additionally, the first parliamentary week of the 10th Parliament’s inaugural session will commence on December 3.
