Deputy Postmaster General Rajitha Ranasinghe assured that, postal workers are prioritizing timely distribution across most districts, while noting a delay in Colombo due to pending election notices that had not yet arrived at the department.
To ensure timely delivery, a special distribution day has been scheduled for Sunday, November 3. On this day, postal services will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in an intensive effort to reach households with election notices on time.
