Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is set to visit Sri Lanka for a one-day official trip, scheduled for October. The visit aims to foster discussions with the newly elected government under President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
During his visit, Jaishankar is expected to engage with the Sri Lankan administration regarding various Indian projects currently in the pipeline. This meeting will build upon their previous interactions, including discussions held during President Dissanayake’s recent visit to India prior to the Sri Lankan Presidential Election.
