Final income tax payments for 2023/24 to be settled today

Inland Revenue Department informed all taxpayers that they must ensure to make their final income tax payments for the Year of Assessment 2023/2024 by today 30th September.Failure to do so may result in penalties and interest charges.
“The penalties and interest imposed for non-payment or late payment of income tax will not be waived off or reduced,” IRD in a statement issued last Friday.a
Inland Revenue Department also urged taxpayers to clear all outstanding default taxes on or before 30 October, after which, any unpaid default taxes will be subject to rigorous collection actions, including legal Aaction.
