The All-Ceylon Restaurant Owners' Association has announced significant price reductions on several staple food items, including Kottu, Fried Rice, and short eats, in a move aimed at easing financial burdens on consumers.

Harshana Rukshan, President of the association, confirmed the price adjustments, highlighting a Rs. 20 decrease in the cost of a packet of Kottu and a Rs. 10 reduction in the prices of short eats. However, Rukshan clarified that while these reductions are being implemented, the prices of plain tea and milk tea will remain unchanged.

The decision to lower prices comes amidst ongoing economic challenges faced by many due to various factors, including the impact of the pandemic.
