The inaugural flight of "Moldivians" Airlines, inaugurating direct flight services from Male to Colombo, landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake.
Flight Kiw.2 - 940 touched down at Katunayake Airport at 09:55 last night, where the airport authorities greeted its arrival with a water salute.
Commencing this week, the airline will offer two weekly flights every Thursday and Saturday. Departing from Male at 7:35 PM, the flight is scheduled to arrive in Colombo at 9:35 PM.
From Colombo, the return flight will depart at 10:35 PM, reaching Male at 11:35 PM. This initiative aims to provide seamless travel experiences between the two countries, catering primarily to medical, business, and leisure travelers from Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Europe.
