Commander of the Navy visits Northern Naval Command

Embarking on a visit to the Northern Naval Command, the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera paid his homage to the Nagadeepa Purana Rajamaha Viharaya on 23rd April 2024.

At the outset, the Commander of the Navy paid his obeisance to the Chief Incumbent of the Nagadeepa Purana Rajamaha Viharaya and the Chief Sanganayake of the Northern Province, Most Venerable Navadagala Padumakiththi Tissa Thera and received his blessings. Meanwhile, on the occasion of the birthday of Most Venerable Navadagala Padumakiththi Tissa Thera, a statue of Bodhisattva Maitreya was also unveiled.
