Actress Damitha Abeyratne and her husband, arrested over alleged fraud, have been remanded until April 24 as per Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court orders.
The couple, sought by CID, was apprehended after appearing in court on April 4, following investigations into a Rs. 3 million money scam related to employment promises in South Korea.
Fort Magistrate’s Court denied a writ petition attempting to halt their arrest.
