Police have reported the suspicious death of a 23-year-old woman at a hotel on Manamendra Mawatha, Avissawella.
The woman, a resident of Walapane, was staying with a companion at the hotel.
Upon the companion's report of the woman's unconscious state, the hotel management informed Avissawella police.
Crime Scene Investigation Officers from the Sitawaka Police initiated investigations into the incident.
