The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) is scheduled to convene today, January 22, to make a final decision on the revised electric tariffs proposed by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).

Following the PUCSL's decision, both the proposed tariffs and the regulatory body's verdict will be disclosed to the public for a comprehensive three-week period. During this time, individuals, organizations, and stakeholders will have the opportunity to provide feedback and opinions on the proposed revisions.

The PUCSL will meticulously assess the public input received and subsequently modify the tariff proposal, taking into account the diverse perspectives and concerns raised. The final, refined tariff revision will then be submitted to the Ceylon Electricity Board.
