The Milk Powder Importers' Association has declared an imminent increase in prices. Beginning next week, consumers can expect a Rs. 30 hike for a 400g packet of imported milk powder and a substantial Rs. 75 increase for a 1kg packet.
The Association attributes this adjustment to various factors affecting the import and distribution of milk powder.
Rising production costs, logistical challenges, and fluctuations in the global market are cited as key contributors to the decision.
