The United Nations (UN) has assured its commitment to supporting Sri Lanka's development, emphasizing peace, unity, and sustainable progress.
UN Pledges Support for Sri Lanka's Development
This assurance was made by UN Resident Representative Marc-André Franche during a meeting held yesterday (December 15) with Minister of Health Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.
During the discussions, the Resident Representative reiterated the UN’s willingness to assist Sri Lanka in achieving its development goals. The Ministry of Health stated that the UN’s support will focus on fostering harmony and sustainable growth within the country.
