The National Election Commission has officially announced the Members of Parliament appointed through the National List for the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).
According to the Gazette notification, the following individuals have been appointed as MPs to the 10th Parliament of Sri Lanka:
Mano Ganesan – Representing the Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA)
Nizam Karriyappar
Sujeewa Senasinghe – Representing the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB)
Achu Mohamath – Representing the All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC)
After the General Election on November 14, the SJB earned five National List MP seats.
On November 19, Ranjith Madduma Bandara, the party’s General Secretary, was named by the SJB and later appointed as one of National List MP and with these four National List appointments, SJB completed their allocated National List appointments.
