SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa has criticized the National People's Power (NPP) for alleged inconsistencies in addressing transparency issues within their party.

Commenting on Speaker Asoka Ranwala’s resignation over unverified educational qualifications on X massage ( Formerly Twitter), Rajapaksa stated that other NPP MPs facing similar allegations should also resign. He argued that this would align with the NPP’s promise to uphold accountability and transparency.
