Four flights have landed at European airports after being targeted by suspected bomb threats
Two flights were inspected in Warsaw, including one that had set off from London Heathrow. BBC reported.
Another plane that departed Manchester was inspected in Murcia in Spain, while local media in Bulgaria reports a plane landing in capital Sofia after a threat
The incidents come a day after a flight from London Luton to Sofia made an emergency landing in Budapest, following a bomb threat
The latest incidents come one day after a Wizz Air flight that took off from London Luton was forced to make an emergency landing in Budapest after a mid-air bomb threat.
The plane, travelling to Sofia in Bulgaria, was escorted by a Hungarian fighter jet before making the emergency landing at Budapest Liszt Ferenc International.
Authorities there "carried out the necessary security checks on the aircraft and passengers", a spokesperson for Wizz Air said.
The airline later confirmed an inspection had been "completed and nothing was found".
Hungarian defence minister Romulusz Ruszin-Szendis confirmed his country provided the fighter jet to escort the flight.
