Special operation launched to analyse Motor Traffic Department’s data systems

A special operation has been launched to analyse the data systems of the Department of Motor Traffic in Sri Lanka.

The operation involves experts from the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (Sri Lanka CERT), Sri Lanka Telecom, and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colombo, along with officers from the Walana Central Anti-Vice Striking Force.

The initiative aims to investigate alleged fraud and corruption that are suspected to have occurred at the Department of Motor Traffic over an extended period.
