The deadline for paying income tax for the 2025/2026 assessment year ends today (30), according to the Inland Revenue Department. Individuals and businesses liable for corporate income tax, individual income tax, and partnership income tax are required to settle their payments by the deadline.
The department warned that those who fail to make the required payments on time will be subject to fines and interest charges.
Tax payments can be made online through the Inland Revenue Department’s online tax payment portal or at any Bank of Ceylon branch.
