The 27th Colombo International Book Fair, organised annually by the Sri Lanka Book Publishers’ Association, begins today (25) at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) premises in Colombo.
The 10-day book fair will continue until October 4 and will be open to the public daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase a wide range of local and international books at special discounts.
Meanwhile, Central Environmental Authority Chairman Professor Tilak Hewawasam has urged visitors to refrain from bringing polythene to the exhibition premises.
