President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to address a farmers’ rally organised by the National People’s Power (NPP) in Polonnaruwa today (12).
The rally, themed “People’s Rule Two Years Strong, Progress for All,” is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. at the Deepa Uyana premises in Polonnaruwa.
The event is part of a series of rallies organised by the NPP to mark two years of its administration, with the Polonnaruwa rally focusing on farmers and the agriculture sector.
The President is expected to highlight the government’s achievements over the past two years and outline its plans for the future.
