President Anura Kumara Dissanayake paid his final respects to the remains of veteran Sri Lankan singer and Visharada Nanda Malini at her residence in Nawala last night (21).
The President visited the residence and paid his respects to the late singer, who was regarded as one of the most prominent vocalists in Sri Lanka’s music industry.
A large number of artists, politicians and members of the public continue to visit the residence in Nawala to pay their final respects.
The funeral of Visharada Nanda Malini is scheduled to take place at 5.30 p.m. today (22) at the Borella General Cemetery.
