Fairly heavy rainfall exceeding 75 mm is expected in some areas within the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, and Uva provinces.
The public is strongly advised to take necessary precautions to minimize potential damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning associated with thundershowers.
In addition, misty conditions are likely in the early hours of the morning in parts of Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Uva provinces, as well as in the Polonnaruwa district. Motorists are urged to drive with caution due to reduced visibility.

Rainfall:
Showers or thundershowers are expected in several sea areas, particularly off the coast stretching from Puttalam to Matara via Colombo and Galle. Other surrounding sea areas may also experience isolated showers or thundershowers, especially during the evening or night.
Winds:
Winds will prevail from the west to southwest, with speeds ranging between 20 to 30 kmph.
State of the Sea:
Sea conditions around the island will remain slight to moderate. However, temporary strong gusty winds and very rough seas are likely to occur during thundershowers. Mariners are advised to exercise caution during such weather conditions.
