Special new year visit opportunity for inmates

As part of this initiative, relatives of inmates will be permitted to visit and provide their loved ones with essential items. These include a food parcel, a parcel of sweets, and a parcel containing hygiene products—each package sufficient for the individual prisoner.

The Department emphasized that all visitation procedures will be conducted in strict adherence to health and safety guidelines across all prison institutions islandwide. Screening measures will be in place to ensure a secure and orderly process.

This special New Year opportunity is part of the Department's ongoing efforts to support inmate welfare and maintain family bonds during the festive season.
