The Department of Immigration and Emigration has issued a special announcement today regarding changes to the provision of one-day and general passport services on April 15th, 16th, and 17th.
According to the announcement, token cards for passport services will only be issued until 12 noon on these days. The department urges the public to plan accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
Furthermore, the 24-hour one-day passport issuance service, which usually operates continuously, will be suspended during this period. The temporary change is expected to affect both regular and expedited service seekers.
Authorities advise applicants to complete any urgent passport-related matters before the aforementioned dates or after normal services resume.
