The case involving suspended Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon, who is currently in remand custody, is scheduled to be taken up again today (April 10) at the Matara Magistrate’s Court.
Tennakoon was remanded until today following his appearance before the same court on April 3. He was taken into custody over undisclosed charges, which have sparked widespread public and media attention.
