EC to hand over postal ballots to postal dept today

Chairman R. M. L. A. Ratnayake confirmed that the necessary steps would be taken following the court process to ensure the distribution of postal ballots to other local government institutions as well.

Postmaster General Ruwan Sathkumara added that all arrangements are in place for the Postal Department to receive the registered packets containing postal votes related to the upcoming local government elections.

This marks a significant step in the election process, ensuring that postal votes are properly distributed in accordance with the necessary protocols.
