The debate on the Second Reading is scheduled to run from today, 18 February, through to 25 February, giving members of Parliament a week to discuss and review the proposed budget. The vote on the Second Reading is set for 25 February at 6 p.m.

Following the Second Reading, the Committee Stage debate will take place over 19 days, spanning from 27 February to 21 March, including four Saturdays. This phase will allow for detailed examination and consideration of the budget's provisions. The final vote on the Third Reading of the Bill is scheduled for 21 March at 6 p.m.

During the debate period, the parliamentary schedule has been carefully organized. From 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., five questions for oral answers will be addressed, followed by the debate itself from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In the evenings, motions at adjournment time will be scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on all days, except on 25 February and 21 March, when votes on the Second and Third Readings will take place.

This well-structured timetable ensures that members of Parliament have ample opportunity to scrutinize the budget and deliberate on its provisions before voting on the crucial financial legislation.
