The 26th Presidential Export Awards Ceremony, organized by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), will take place today, February 7, 2025, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall. The event will be held under the distinguished patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The Presidential Export Award, Sri Lanka’s highest honor for exporters, recognizes those who have made exceptional contributions to the country's export sector and economic development.

Since its inception in 1981, the Presidential Export Awards Program has been a platform to celebrate and appreciate the achievements of the nation's best exporters.

This year, the awards will acknowledge the outstanding contributions of exporters during the 2023/24 financial year. The ceremony will feature two main categories, with a total of 14 overall awards and 51 product and service sector awards.

The winners of the prestigious awards will receive a plaque, certificate, and the right to use the Presidential Export Awards logo for marketing purposes for three years. The awards not only honor the achievements of the exporters but also serve as a symbol of excellence that can enhance the global recognition of Sri Lanka’s export products and services.

As the nation continues to face economic challenges, the Presidential Export Awards play a vital role in inspiring and motivating the export community to contribute further to the country’s economic progress.
