Train Cancellations Continue for Third Day due to Exam Leaves

Train disruptions have persisted for the third straight day, with 27 trains journeys canceled today ( January 19), according to Sri Lanka Railways.
The affected routes include 16 journeys on the main line, 7 on the coastal line, and 4 on the Puttalam line. However, the Kelani Valley line remains unaffected.
The cancellations are due to a shortage of locomotive drivers, as many are preparing for a promotion exam set for today.. Railway unions have warned that more cancellations could occur later today.
