Train Service to Restart Between Badulla-Bandarawela Tomorrow

Efforts are underway to clear rocks and earth that fell onto the tracks due to heavy rains in the region. Multiple teams have been deployed to expedite the clearing process.

Train services on the upcountry line were previously restricted to Bandarawela following disruptions caused by adverse weather. The department is working to ensure safe passage for travelers once services recommence.
