The Sri Lanka Law College Common Entrance Examination, originally scheduled for December 1, 2024, has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions affecting the country. The announcement was made by Examination Commissioner General, Amit Jayasundara, during a special news conference held today.

In addition to the Law college entrance exam, the bar exam for Senior Statistician and Statistician Officers (2016/24) has also been rescheduled. This exam, initially set for December 2, will not take place on the planned date either.

During his statement, Commissioner General Jayasundara confirmed that the necessary arrangements for both exams had been made earlier but, due to the severe weather, it is no longer feasible to hold them on the scheduled dates. He assured that relevant candidates would be informed about the new dates for these exams as soon as possible.

Further details regarding the rescheduling of both the Sri Lanka Law college Common Entrance Exam and the Senior Statistician and Statistician Officers' bar exam will be communicated to the candidates in due course.
