Sri Lanka - New Zealand 3rd ODI to be played at pallekele today

 Having already secured an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, Sri Lanka will look to finish the series on a high.

In a strategic move, Sri Lanka has made several changes to their squad ahead of this final ODI. Key players Kusal Mendis, Pathum Nissanka, Kamindu Mendis, and Asita Fernando have been released from the squad in order to focus on preparations for the upcoming Test series against South Africa. 

Replacing them in the squad are Nuwanidu Fernando, Lahiru Udara, and Eshan Malinga, all of whom are expected to bring fresh energy to the team as they aim for a clean sweep in the series.

Despite having already clinched the series, Sri Lanka will be eager to give their new players a chance to prove themselves and finish the ODI series with a 3-0 victory. New Zealand, on the other hand, will be aiming to salvage pride and avoid a series whitewash in today's encounter.
