The new cabinet of ministers and deputy ministers will be sworn in today at 10 am at the President's Office in a ceremony attended by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

 The Presidential Media Division confirmed that both Cabinet Ministers and Deputy Ministers will take their oaths as part of the official formation of the new government.

In related news, the 10th Parliament is scheduled to hold its first session on November 21 at 10 a.m. This parliamentary session will mark the beginning of a new legislative term, with over 175 newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) set to join the assembly.

To facilitate the process, Secretary General of Parliament, Kushani Rohanadeera, announced that a special counter will be set up at Parliament on November 19 and 20 to collect necessary information from all newly elected MPs, ensuring smooth registration and participation for the upcoming session.
