The National People's Power (NPP) has revealed the 18 nominees who will fill the party's National List MP seats following their victory in the 2024 parliamentary election.
Among them is Sugath Wasantha De Silva, President of the Sri Lanka Council of Visually Handicapped Graduates, who will officially take his seat in Parliament.
De Silva’s appointment will be a significant milestone, as he becomes a voice for the visually handicapped community, advocating for greater inclusivity and accessibility on a national platform.
