The registration of newly elected Members of Parliament is set to start tomorrow (November 17), the Parliamentary Communications Department announced.
New MPs can complete their registration online, while two special information counters will be available at Parliament on Tuesday (November 19) and Wednesday (November 20) to assist with the process.
In addition, a three-day workshop is planned for the newly elected legislators to familiarize them with parliamentary culture and procedures. The workshop will take place on November 25, 26, and 27.
A gazette notification regarding these arrangements is expected to be issued today (November 16).
The inaugural session of the 10th Parliament, comprising members elected in the 2024 General Election held on November 14, will commence on November 21.
