The National People's Power (NPP) has achieved a historic victory in Sri Lanka's general election, securing a two-thirds majority in the 10th Parliament under the Proportional Representation (PR) system.
According to the official all-island cumulative results, the NPP has won a total of 159 seats, including 141 elected members and 18 appointed through the National List.
This landmark result marks a significant moment in Sri Lankan electoral history, showcasing the public's overwhelming support for the NPP’s agenda and leadership.
