Over 90,000 personnel from the Sri Lanka Police and Armed Forces have been deployed to ensure security for the 2024 Parliamentary election.
The Police have confirmed that drones will be used throughout the day to monitor election activities, including vote counting centers in Colombo city. This advanced surveillance is part of an effort to maintain transparency and security during the election process.
