Korean SME Association Pledges Support to Boost Agriculture and Fishing Sectors

The Korean Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Association has pledged its support to Sri Lanka in advancing its agriculture sector and creating more job opportunities in related fields. The association also agreed to offer technical assistance and training to strengthen the fishing industry.
These commitments were discussed today (November 13) during a meeting at the Presidential Secretariat between representatives from the Korean SME Association and officials from the President’s Office. The discussions also covered plans to train Sri Lankan workers locally for employment in Korea’s fishing industry.
The Korean delegation was led by Kim Chung Ryong, President of the Korean SME Association.
