The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has announced that it will submit revised proposals to reduce electricity tariffs to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) next week.

CEB spokesperson Dhanushka Parakramasinghe stated that while initial proposals were already sent to the PUCSL, the commission had requested adjustments to the calculations, asking for a resubmission by November 8. The CEB then requested an additional two weeks to make the necessary revisions.

The updated proposal, with revised calculations for reduced electricity tariffs, is expected to reach the PUCSL in the coming week.
