Senior Deputy Postmaster General Rajitha Ranasinghe reports that around 500,000 polling cards for the upcoming 2024 general election remain uncollected at post offices.
These cards belong mainly to individuals who are overseas or were not at home during the distribution period, which ended on November 7, 2024.
Ranasinghe noted that 76,000 polling cards were collected by voters over the past two days. For those who still have not received their cards, they can also be picked up on election day at the nearest post office upon verifying their identity.
