Report on Rice and Paddy Stocks to be Handed Over to the President

According to M.M. Naimudin, Secretary of the Ministry, the report includes data gathered from key districts including rice producing districts. The Consumer Affairs Authority recently surveyed the stocks held by large, medium, and small-scale rice mills in these areas.

Once the report is reviewed, the president will take appropriate action.

Meanwhile, the price of Nadu rice continues to exceed the control price, and there is a noticeable shortage of this variety in the market.
