According to the latest Henley Passport Index released in October 2024, Singapore has been ranked as the world's most powerful passport, offering its citizens visa-free access to 195 countries. This top ranking reflects Singapore's strong diplomatic relationships and the privileges it extends to its citizens for global travel.

France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Spain secured the second spot, with their citizens able to travel visa-free to 192 countries. In third place were eight countries, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, South Korea, and Sweden granting visa-free access to 191 countries.

The fourth place was shared by Belgium, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, each allowing visa-free access to 190 countries, while Australia and Portugal claimed the fifth spot, providing entry to 189 countries.

The United States, the world’s largest economy, ranked 8th, with visa-free access to 186 countries. Meanwhile, India came in at 83rd, enabling its citizens to travel visa-free to 58 countries.

Sri Lanka ranked 94th on the list, offering its citizens visa-free access to 44 countries.
