Senior Deputy Postmaster General Rajitha Ranasinghe confirmed that 2,090 letter distribution offices will be open, and 8,000 postal staff have been assigned to carry out this task. The distribution will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will continue until November 7.
The 2024 general election is scheduled for November 14.
