Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya, former CEO of Axiata Group, has been appointed Chief Advisor to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Digital Economy.
The appointment letter was handed over by the President today (November 01) at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo. According to the President’s Media Division (PMD), this appointment is a pivotal move towards establishing Sri Lanka’s digital economy, highlighting the government’s commitment to digital transformation.
