Voter turnout for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha Election reached 25 percent by 10:00 a.m. today (October 26), according to Galle District Returning Officer W.A. Dharmasiri.
Voting began at 7:00 a.m. across 48 polling centers and will continue until 4:00 p.m., after which vote counting will start at respective counting centers.
The Election Commission reports that 55,643 registered voters are eligible to participate, based on the 2018 voter registration list.
