The Australian Government has provided a Beechcraft King Air 350 surveillance aircraft, operated by the Royal Australian Air Force, to the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) on a no-cost basis.
This aircraft will strengthen SLAF’s ability to conduct maritime surveillance and reconnaissance, supporting Sri Lanka’s efforts to maintain peace and security in the Indian Ocean region.
The SLAF noted that this aircraft underscores the strong partnership between Sri Lanka and Australia, reinforcing their shared commitment to fighting human trafficking and enhancing regional stability.
